Delete your SAWA account
This page deletes your account and the data attached to it. You do not need the app installed.
We will email you a link. Nothing is deleted until you open it and confirm, so a mistyped address cannot remove someone else's account.
This is permanent. Your profile, photos, matches and messages are deleted. Report evidence is kept for one month, as described in the privacy policy.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, age, photos, bio and preferences.
- Your matches, likes, messages and room messages.
- Your login. The account cannot be recovered afterwards.
What is kept, and why
- Copies of conversations attached to a report are kept for one month for safety review, then deleted.
- Records required for tax or legal reasons, where they exist, are kept for the period the law requires.
You can also delete your account inside the app at any time: Profile → Settings → Delete account. That route deletes immediately, without an email step.
